At the Faculty of Business Administration within the British-Romanian University, the
“Business” subject matter stands for the key of this specialization and it will be
permanently present during these years spent at the university.
Each year, students will work at the business project, as an integration of other subject
matters taken each year. For example, in the freshman year, you will suggest and build a
business with an initial capital of USD 10,000 using your knowledge of law (setting-up companies),
accounting, strategic management, quantitative methods and information technology.
In the sophomore year, the project will be similar. Only the initial capital is different.
You will now have USD 100,000 but also more useful knowledge assimilated in this year.
Junior year will bring something different, because the initial capital is USD 1,000,000
from which half liquidities, and half goods. You will work out a business plan, in order
to persuade a bank to give you a credit, to change the goods into liquidities, so you can
start and carry on the project you thought over, analyzed and worked out. This way, all
subject matters from the first three years are integrated into this project.
In the senior year, the task will be the same, but the students will have the freedom to
associate in groups of 2-5 students. The right form of association should be found, the
capital is put together, and the associates can specialize themselves in each field of the business.
The best projects will be awarded in a very original way: they will be proposed to some
investors, in order to put them into practice!
It may be possible that right after graduation, you will be responsible with the very
business you conceived!
